Segmented Child’s Hand Desk Lamp

Desk lamp featuring lifecast of segmented female child’s hand holding a pendant light

The lifecast female child’s hand is made of high density plaster which has been hand painted and coated in polyurethane.
It is set on steel bars into a hand cut Japanese cedar base with stainless steel inlay.
The wood was burned with a torch to achieve the color, and then coated in polyurethane to protect the surface.

Features:
Vintage ceramic socket (e14), newly wired.
Standard United States light bulb is included.
Small AC switch.
Anti-slip feet.

This item is one of a kind.
The mold was destroyed during the process and only a single cast was made.
