The Material.ism Project was started as, and remains, a creative outlet seeking to use both local and exotic materials (and people) to creative unique and interesting pieces which capture and convey a sense of mood through presence.

As we are living in a digital era, and concerns arise around the reproduction of art and media by both mass manufacturing and AI, I wanted to create work that could not be replicated in this way. Every piece of art that I produce is made completely by hand, and the life-cast sculptural pieces are cast from individual people.

The Material.ism Project is an independent design and art production enterprise wholly owned and run by a single artist.

I do not have the ability to produce at scale, and generally accept commissions for small items or limited run projects.
