Ring tree jewelry display featuring lifecast female fingers

The lifecast female fingers are made of dental stone (a type of very hard plaster) which has been hand painted and coated in polyethylene.
Details such as fingerprints and skin texture are well preserved.

Each finger is set on a stainless steel rod into the salvaged pine base.
The base has also been treated and coated in polyurethane to protect the surface.

Each item is one of a kind. I destroy the mold during the process and only a single cast is made.
