Child Hand Puppeteer Fish Hook Ring Holder

Jewelry display featuring lifecast hand of a male child with attached fish hooks to display rings

The lifecast male child’s hand is made of dental stone (a type of extra hard plaster), hand painted, and coated in polyurethane.
It is set on stainless steel rods into a salvaged pine base.
The base has also been treated and coated in polyurethane to protect the surface.

Details such as fingerprints and skin texture are well preserved.

High quality red fishing line, large red fish hooks, and stainless steel swivels were used to complete the piece.

Each of these displays are one of a kind. The mold is destroyed during the process and only a single cast is made.
